What does a health and nutrition coach do?
I help you turn health advice into practical habits that work in your everyday life. Together, we look at food, movement, sleep, stress and mindset, exploring what’s getting in your way and building routines you can maintain.
Who do you work with?
I primarily support women over 40 who want to feel stronger, more energised and more in control of their health. Many are juggling work and family, feel overwhelmed by conflicting advice or are tired of starting another diet.
What can you help me with?
We can work on your eating habits, energy, weight-management goals, relationship with food and consistency with movement. Your coaching is shaped around your priorities, whether that’s managing evening snacking, making time for yourself or moving away from an all-or-nothing approach.
How is health coaching different from following a diet?
Rather than giving you strict rules to follow, I help you understand your habits and build skills you can use for the long term. We consider your whole lifestyle and create realistic changes, with support to adapt when life gets busy.
Will I need to count calories or give up foods I enjoy?
Not necessarily. Some clients benefit from tracking food or calories, and we may use this tool depending on your goals and circumstances. Together, we’ll find an approach that works for you, focusing on nourishing meals, realistic portions and flexible choices – with room for foods you enjoy.
Can coaching fit around my work and family commitments?
Yes – that’s central to how I work. Together, we create habits that fit your actual week, including simple options for busy or low-energy days. You don’t need a perfect routine to make progress.
Do I need to have a specific weight-loss goal?
Not at all. You might want more energy, to feel stronger, improve your habits or feel more confident around food. Weight loss can be a goal, but it doesn’t have to be the focus of our work.
What happens during a coaching session?
We talk about what you want to achieve, what’s going well and where you’re finding things difficult. I help you explore patterns and practical solutions, and we agree on manageable next steps. It’s a supportive conversation, without judgement.
Is coaching online?
Yes, coaching is delivered online, so you can access support from home and fit sessions around your work and family commitments.
How much does coaching cost?
The cost depends on the coaching option and level of support you choose. Please visit my coaching pages for details, or select the ‘Contact’ tab and I’ll talk you through the options and any available payment plans.
How do I know which coaching option is right for me?
You don’t need to decide on your own. We can discuss your goals, the support you’re looking for and what fits your lifestyle, so you can make an informed choice without pressure.
How do I get started?
Select the ‘Contact’ tab on my website to get in touch. Tell me a little about what you’d like help with, and we can arrange an initial conversation to explore whether we’re a good fit.
